Just because I saw a hummingbird.. imo, one of the coolest studies done with @Picarro instruments and the study that sold me on #CRDS enough to join the team at #Picarro!
In this study by Erich Eberts et al., the breath of hummingbirds was measured with a #Picarro after they were fed a 13C-enriched sugar solution. Tracking breath #StableCarbonIsotopes provided insight on metabolic fates. Read on: bit.ly/2mGAQf9 @bioWelch @WelchLab_UTSC
