WI housing construction slowed for the second straight year in 2023. Net change in the state's housing stock was down about 13% from 2021. But the net gains of the past four years have all been well above those in the 2014-19 period.

Births in the U.S. are increasingly to higher-educated mothers: Pre-2020, approximately 66% of births were to mothers without a college degree; 32% were to mothers with a college degree or higher. Post-2020, it is now 63% and 35%, respectively.
