@TXChainSawGame still was being updated knows where i have always stood in regards to the community,towards the devs (i was one of the last regulars of the game to actually turn against them,i chose to see the positive in people until proven otherwise)
My heart and my soul has been in this game,and its community for soon 3 years (only a few months left now for what would have been its 3 year anniversary)
If i got abandoned by 2 family members,wich did happen back then too,but not as often as now,i stayed behind to give victims some free points,maybe some of them were "Johnny fans" that i could brighten a miserable gaming experience into a positive.
The amount of requests i have had,for people just to "meet my Johnny" in a friendly manner,is soo many that i lost count. Both men and women,Johnny is by far the most popular character of TCM. Right next to Sissy on family side i would say,but also the most hated of other reasons.
My motivation was to expand the lifespan of this game,and i have a partner of the same mindset,that is not as active as me. (Her family life took most of her time,but shes still around)
Anyhow,i would seize every opportunity to give both sides a positive experience. That was me pouring love into the game,hoping it would help expand the lifetime of the game by hopefully many many many years.
Nothing i did was really out of selfish interest,but a common interest for everyone that loved/loves the game as much as i do (its my favourite horror franchise,so already upon hearing it was a game underway,i was already halfway invested)

@Friday13thGame ,where our friendship just grew and grew really. Its the most viewed and supported Friday The 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre supported and watched streamer,Slayna.
Seeing how this game slowly but steady lost its impressive playerbase from the out of nowhere announcement 15th of May last year,into now barely running a few matches a day,as im not kidding if i say the total family player count now has to be down to 20-30ish people across platforms,lets stretch it to 40-50ish just for the hell of it,but i doubt its that many that plays daily.
The lobbies now are soo misrepresented on family side,if one family leaves the lobbies do expire. I have actually joined several lobbies and after seconds we got counted out into "expirement".
TCM has never looked worse,and i have expressed my worry and frustration with Slayna.
And i know she has mentioned it halfway in the past when lobbies started taking forever,but yesterday on a Saturday during double xp event,she finally broke out of her silence entirely.
She was certain that on a saturday with double xp,she would get faster lobbies. Her statement before changing to DBD and 2 v 8 was: If the lobbies were faster,i was thinking of playing it for longer,do more stuff for the viewers coming with suggestions.
But when the lobbies doesnt even fill,players are leaving left to right,and when you get a full lobby,people sit there like zombies refusing to ready up,like they are there mainly to create a lobby simulator experience.
She eventually got fed up too and adressed people constantly complaining about a dead game,trash developers,but at the same time sabotaging lobbies,sabotaging the few matches that are actually starting,instead of making sure they lasted abit and had all parts wanting to ready up again for another after the match. But no,entitlement,selfish toxic egoes that wants to win for everything its worth,or not playing at all,they want every match to be dominant in theyr favor,so they can be as toxic and cocky as they dream of being.
She adressed them all before she changed,saying: Im trying to keep this game alive by streaming it,and trying to create entertaining matches,but this is not gonna work anymore if this continues.
Let me make it clear: For me and especially for Slayna to be adressing this in such a manner,takes alot!
This is the game none of us want to see die entirely. And let me put this into your thoughts. There is always enough players on victim side to fefill a missing spot or 4 within seconds. None of these wants to play family reguarly to save the game,to make the waiting in lobbies less,to help put this game back on its feet for as long as the servers are being online.
Why is that? Because they know that family side is suffering heavily,and that it takes awhole lot of skill,luck etc to pull off a victory these days as family. I could show you my statistics for now soon 12 000 matches,where my successrate in for example grapples are as fucking Johnny for the most,im not one of the slowest on the button mashing,and i have grappled victims into DCing because i beat them fair and square.
But after they started letting victims piling up boneshards as well as multiple grapple rewarding with devastating stuntime rewards added to the mix,victims often win before they even aggressively jump into your face to grapple.
You should fear grappling a family member,it should be a last way resort,hoping that luck is on your side. Instead they grapple you,use the stuntime to spam collect more boneshards in front of your face,then tbag,and do it again. Or spam a barge that doesnt have a one chance only ability like they threw on Hands (Leland),no they let a Leland main spam the button until it connects. No skill with that barge,absolutely nothing. Its like using aimbot in COD.
Thats all on the devs side for sure,and the devs was the main reason to this downfall without a doubt. But the community has ever since made sure that this game dies faster then it needs to be. And that is something that frustrates both me and Slayna highly these days.
She tries to provide income from making that part of her content,wich says alot about her. She could have chosed to play a game that is far more popular,but her love for TCM is shining through. She wants it to be around for as long as the servers are up,and im right there with her.
But now the both of us are fearing the worst,way ahead of time. At least back in the day this community had some sort of charm,you never really knew what the next match would bring.
Now its either bullrush causing family to DC at the start,a match where fed up family is rushing brand new victims in the basement (where usually i just leave then too,i dont like rushing period,nomatter who does it)
Or its pissed off family answering the bullrushing attempts with charging down in the basement and killing everyone off.maybe thats where ill join them. On sweaties thinking they can do whatever they want every single match.
Because i have seen these sweats in basement DC the moment they get a counter taste of family answering theyr bullrush attempts by sweating on them in return.

I dont recognize you anymore,you used to be something i did everything for,and now i block more people then the plague killed. Im tired of the egoistic,entitled nonsence. If you care an inch for the game,you better start showing it before it ends completely any day now.
12 hours of lobby waiting out of the 24 hours in a day,thats where we are heading real soon in this pace.
Im starting to believe my friends that say: "This community never deserved you buddy!" 😂
The characters will never die with me though,you will keep seeing them in groundbreaking epic,tearjerking.hyped,heartwarming shit in the near future and going forward in the long run too! Im gonna turn them fucking legendary! My love for them is unreal,thats why i cant separate myself from the game,i keep trying... but my patience is running low on resources now.
Through my content of them as real life looking humans,im showing how much of a fuckup it was to just abandon them after not even full 2 years after release,and how rotten this community turned while trying to only blame the devs for theyr own fucked up decision making.
This game would have been the biggest threat to DBD,if it only had developers with passion,like Sumo Nottingham started out showing. People loved to thrash them in the start,but this was first timers with asymm horror livefeed games,they adapted real fast along the way,straight up professionals. They showed more improvement in less then a year then Black Tower showed in almost a full decade,actually,Black Tower got worse over all those years. Let that sink in.
If
@NottinghamSumo ever picks this game up in the future after a expired licence with GUN,with another Sumo studio as the new publishers,i will be in without even thinking! From this game i took with me valuable things: Enough of GUN,enough of Black Tower,i gained a new favourite dev team in Sumo! Im instantly in if they ever do something with this game,or choses to do a similar groundbreaking asym horror game.
I know Wrong Turn has 3 cannibal "brothers"..... could turn into one helluva asym horror experience,and Wrong Turn is now at my Top 3 spot over horror franchises.
Basically another chance of re-creating a 3 versus 4 experience,this time with Sumo fully balancing the game without GUN telling them what to do...... just throwing ideas out here for free. Either way with any of these games in the future,im all in!
TCM has the most beautiful graphics i have ever seen in a asymm horror,and thats all thanks to Sumo. 🫡🥰
