ALT Since the year 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated on 22nd April all over the world. Earth provides us with all the resources necessary for the survival of our ecosystem, and earth day is an acknowledgment that focuses on honoring and praising the environment for its gifts. Furthermore, due to climate change, overfishing, and other human activities, we are facing a severe threat to our existence. This is why on Earth day, several programs and events are initiated to counter these problems. Appther shows its support and admiration for our blue marble. We are dedicated to using minimal resources in our organization and focusing on contributing to our planet’s welfare.

ALT World Health Day is celebrated every year on the founding day of the World Health Organization. Established in 1950 this event has a theme each year to draw attention to a current world health issue. The WHO puts together regional, local, and international events on this day related to that theme. Local governments also tend to jump on this band-wagon, after all, global health means everyone!
