Today was a great day!!! Our Northeast Teacher Leadership Council was recognized by the State Board of Education. It was a great day of learning, collaboration, and shining the light on amazing educators from across the Northeast! @MsCumbee501 from @MartinCoSchNC and @AprilSwain82 from @BCoSchools shared some amazing engagement strategies they use in their classroom. @MattDaniel___ from @PCS_NC co-presented with me and he is 🔥🔥🔥. I am so blessed to be a part of an amazing group of teacher leaders. Thank you @ToddTackles_ for being an outstanding support and moderator and @castickney for always empowering teacher leaders. #NCTOYPOY

Congrats to @BCoSchools for being recognized as the NE Region's first True Trailblazer Award recipient from @NCDPI_OEL. @CTruittNCDPI honored the district for its outstanding work in implementing the SoR at the @edstateboard_nc Nov. Planning & Work session Wed. morning.

The best part of today was having the opportunity to collaborate with pre-service teachers from @ECU_COE. The future is bright for these future educators. We explored engagement strategies that can be used in classrooms regardless of grade or content level and hosted a panel discussion. I cannot wait for more opportunities to work with these future educators again. #NCTOYPOY
