This is so true! I remember having over 700 subs as a Twitch affiliate a few years ago and I have much less now as a Twitch partner. But I make more in ad revenue now, and I enjoy my content in a different way! Things have changed so much over my six years! Enjoy the journey!!

I averaged around 1,000 subs as an affiliate a few years ago.
Last month I received 100 as a Partner.
People really think getting Partner will change everything and you can go full time and quit your day job.
Feel free to shoot for Partner, but realize Twitch is extremely versatile and the future of the platform is unknown along with the income, and there's no guarantee you'll maintain Partner numbers forever.
Enjoy the journey. Stream as a hobby. And have other goals and aspirations within this world and you'll have a better time with the process and not burn out.
