I entered the electronics industry in 1985. I have been a proud member of @SMTAorg Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) since 1996. Three years ago, the members of SMTA voted me into the position of Board member of the SMTA Global Board of Directors. I am both privileged and honored to have served on the SMTA Global Board of Directors for the past three years. I began my service on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Training Committee and a member of the Strategic Development Committee. One year ago, I was appointed as the Vice President of Communications for SMTA. I also serve as an officer for the Los Angeles/ Orange County SMTA chapter where I am Vice President of Technical Programs. Most recently, I was appointed to the position of Conference Chair for the Pan Pacific Strategic Electronics Symposium. As my first term comes to an end, I have the distinct honor to serve one remaining term as a member of the SMTA Global Board of Directors and I’m asking for your support. SMTA provides its members with a unique ability to connect the electronics industry with valuable education, training, certifications, networking opportunities, and so much more.
