The Arkansas Farm Bureau Foundation, county Farm Bureaus, individuals and organizations from across the state continue to support the important work of Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry. This year, the ArFB Foundation donated $25,000 to help provide shelf-stable meat snack sticks to schools participating in backpack feeding programs, giving students a reliable source of protein at home. An additional $30,000 has been set aside for matching donations, helping expand the program’s reach even further. In 2025, more than $85,000 was donated to AHFH through Arkansas Farm Bureau, county affiliates and the Foundation’s matching program. Those contributions helped provide more than 61,000 meat stick packages to more than 80 schools across 45 counties. Support this effort and donate today: givingtools.com/give/692. #ArFBGives26

"Food security is often discussed in terms of grocery prices, supply chains or global hunger. But at its core, food security is national security: a nation that cannot reliably feed its people is a nation vulnerable to economic instability, social unrest and external pressure. In the United States — and especially in Arkansas — farmers and ranchers are not just food producers; they are frontline defenders of our country’s independence and long-term security." ow.ly/zrBq50Z4UW8
