It makes sense that in a world without technology, the most efficient way to teach was to deliver live lectures to a large number of students and to have everyone work at the same pace.
But it's 2023. Technology is everywhere. Teachers shouldn't have to spend precious class time delivering information. Students shouldn't be rushed through a lesson before they're able to master a skill because the class period is ending. Those practices should be antiquated but are still commonplace in most classrooms. It's time we equip educators with new methods of teaching that leverage the tools of the 21st century to truly meet students' needs effectively.

The Problem with the cut referrals is that the data tends to be based on the number of total referrals rather than the number of students receiving referrals. If we focus on who is getting them and helping and supporting them then the numbers will hopefully go down
