Right-wingers always find a way to praise the worst dictatorships on the planet
Right now, North Korea is experiencing real economic growth, with 3.7% expansion, a construction boom in Pyongyang, and signs of modernization like apps, taxis, and electric vehicles.
And something to note: all the branding for the new developments in NK stays in Korean, preserving their language and identity. In contrast, South Korea increasingly brands new hotels, stores, restaurants, and apartments all in English, which risks eroding its national identity.
North Koreaโs growth, driven largely from arms sales to Russia, troop deployments to Ukraine, and trade with China, shows they can develop without giving up their nuclear program. This development strengthens Kim Jong-unโs position and should be taken seriously.
