There is no place for children in the labor market.
On the occasion of the World Day Against Child Labour, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the Arab Labour Organization, the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, and the Arab Gulf Programme for Development “AGFUND” issue a joint statement renewing their commitment to addressing the exploitation faced by millions of children and outlining clear strategies to combat this phenomenon.
The partners call for unified efforts and stronger partnerships among all concerned stakeholders amid successive humanitarian, economic, and climate crises around the world, as well as technological transformations that require us all to place child protection at the top of our priorities.
