You guys have probably noticed a change in the Buy Box algorithm. Amazon heavily favoring price over everything else (including delivery times). This is why you are seeing more FBM sellers steal buy box. Amazon has realized it's customers are no longer loyal to anything but price. All the other platforms have caught up. This is pushing sellers into unprofitable territory and they are leaving in droves. Amazon is blowing the biggest lead in history Only fix is to start prioritizing sellers to the point they dont need to sell elsewhere

You can make a lot of money selling on Amazon You can make a lot of money selling a course about selling on Amazon Be cautious of anymore making more money doing the second than they do with the first

Loving the @Amazon–@Nike partnership results so far. Listings that did thousands of units per month reduced to 0 because the little guys are kicked off Nike listings and AMZN can't even maintain stock for customers. Playing sloppy monopoly on the graves of small businesses 🤑

FBA vs FBM return rate over the last 3 months It's a joke at this point. If you're sending money to Amazon fulfillment centers at this point you're lighting money on fire

Every single day an Amazon employee making $250,000 a year clocks in and asks himself "how can I make this platform even more dogshit for sellers" Seller reviews will no longer require text along with the rating. No longer going to be able to get feedback removed due to policy violations. This will be abused heavily by Chinese sellers

No large updates. Very much head down building out our FBM model. Further proof it's the future of ecommerce. Use the customer base Amazon has spent billions capturing but keep all the control of inventory in house Example 4,302: - Reimburse for $49 because customer didn't return item - Reverse reimbursement -$49 because they "found an item" - Immediately mark it as warehouse damaged and refund $33.05 If you're still fully reliant on the FBA model in 2025 you are doing yourself a serious disservice

10% increase to one of the largest costs for e-com sellers and not a single person is talking about it. Does everyone just live in fairy land where none of this stuff matters? You stay in business by digging into this shit. Not shocking 90% of Amazon twit is no longer around

Fedex just quietly raised the price of their 2 day shipping by 10% For shoes you now paying an additional $1.5-$1.75 per package FBA pick and pack fee has not changed. Particularly frustrating for those who have been working to move away from the FBA model as fedex had the cheapest 2 day options. If you are selling a lot of FBM, breakeven and min profit pricing now needs to be moved up.

Amazon abuses their selling partners for years They nickel and dime them at every stop They outsource all support to india Many banned, restricted, or bankrupt Sellers stop selling on the platform entirely They continue to offer their products on Walmart, Target, eBay, and their own site Every corporation rides coattails and runs a sale Traffic and spend drops significantly I for one am shocked this has happened
JUST IN: Amazon Prime Day sales fall 41% in its first day.

Alright we're back. Repricing was dialed and spent a ton of money on A2A leads yesterday. For the most part repricing for the next 3 days is automated. Might adjust on the final day to go scorched earth. Will say for the millionth time, our competition is brain dead. 20% under retail on minimal competition top 0.01% bsr products. Your company will be bankrupt in a few years and you don't even realize it Today will be double dipping on on retail sites that carry the same products and are price matching. Rakuten and others running pretty solid cashback on top of these sales. LETS FUCKING GET IT

Prime day starts tomorrow and it's the only thing we're focused on right now. One and only post today walking through what we're doing then going dark to grind: 1. Moved our minimums up 20% across the board. Not that they will stay there, just making sure we dont sell through anything today while preparing 2. Scrambling for inventory. Got a rush on a 2,500 unit order that was supposed to land on the 14th. Freight picking it up this evening and prep center working overtime to get it checked in tonight 3. Competition analysis. We are combing through every single listing we are on. Looking at how many units each of our competitors have. Then using a combination of our own sales data, BILM, and keepa>data>offers to figure out how many units are going to sell in the next 4 days. 4. Setting more accurate minimums based on the above. Moving minimums up for listings with less competition and down if listings are unlikely to sell out 5. Reviewing sales and getting shipping templates dialed. Hybrid SSA/Custom shipping templates for our FBM inventory. Looking to show the most competitive deliver by dates with the smallest impact to our OTDR when this is over 6. Creating lists. Liquidate, business as usual, pump it, etc. Will make it much easier to focus on blocks of inventory and reprice accordingly 7. Automate as much of it as possible to focus on buying during the actual 4 day stretch. Time will likely be split between repricing and buying. Mornings evenings for repricing, midday for buying

Semi regular holiday reminder that your business will exist tomorrow and that one of the reasons you probably started it was to spend more quality time with the people you love. Take the day off, eat an all beef dog, and blow some shit up

Here's every single fee that Amazon increased or implemented in the last few years FBA fees Storage fees Return Processing fees Refund Administration fees Inbound Placement fees Shipping and AWD fees Low Inventory fees Long term storage fees MCF fees Coupon fees Lighting Deal fees Prime Exclusive Discount fees Sourcing cost reimbursements Amazon is trying to strangle you to death. It's time to do something about it. Merchant fulfilling your inventory gets rid of 90% of these.

Amazon sellers are abandoning 40% of their revenue. "If I could leave Amazon, I would." The return system is bleeding them dry. Here's why sellers choose bankruptcy over Amazon:

Easily one of the most insane mess-ups I've seen from @amazon this year. I'm speechless. Despite proving full chain of custody for all his inventory to/from his warehouse, Braden remains wrongfully deactivated for dropshipping. "Try submitting a picture of a blank brown box" is one of the extremely terrible advice and feedback he has received from seller support and @amznsellerhelp . Braden and his team of 7 (now down to 5) are all suffering because Amazon doesn't know how to provide basic support. Do better @amazon See link to video below 👇
