Great time for there to be two US pro tours back to back, making it impossible for me to defer and actually play. Ah well, maybe it's time to update policy? @PlayMTG
After 5 rounds against the thoughest competition in mtgo, we have put 2 players in the Modern Showcase Qualifier Top8!
Let's go @Arcbounded and @toondoslav !!
Nice run with the top16 @BertramTimo ❤️
Let's get this bread 😎
Hi guys,
@MrSeriMTG, @Arcbounded and i released a sideboard guide Matchup analysis for Affinity. Our win rate for all three players was 70% at RC, and Stan even came 11th at RC Antwerp. Link in the Comments.
Won(split) the challenge tonight after bombing out of the manatraders open. scales still has plenty juice in the tank, even if the meta is incredibly stale.
5th trophy this season. we started tracking the win rate in leagues, challenges and paper tournaments 3 weeks ago and are currently at a 68% win rate after 200 matches. i don't know when is the better time to try scales if not now. #robots#hardenedscales
R1: Naya energy, 2-0
R2: UB Lotus Field Combo, 2-1
R3: Grinding Breach, 2-1
R4: ID
R5: ID
Going into top 8 as 2nd seed.
QF: Grinding Breach(rematch), 2-1
SF: Grinding Breach, 2-1
F: Naya Energy(rematch), 2-1
Flutes pierce was great against Breach and Lotus field.
This isn't scales, but it's pretty sweet. gloomlake verge works perfectly for a deck like frog, and oculus has been incredibly impressive as a murktide variant.
Eldrazi breach some of the most unfun magic I've had to play against in ages. Completely random games entirely reliant on the eldrazi players opening hand.
chose to play a version without lightning helix, which cost me massively in quarters, but did wonders for me in the swiss, pillage the bog and abrupt decay more consistent green made slower matchups significantly better.
