Hi everyone I talked with a lot of people in the community, and to my understanding people weren’t trying to cancel mew and it was more of coming from a place of education, I think that’s completely valid and we must hold people accountable when they mess up. I talked with Mew and explained the situation which she already had a very good understanding of and she’s taken the time to apologize. I think anyone trying to discredit yall for trying to educate her are wrong but, I did see tweets of people calling her a “pick me bitch” and other vile things which I think is completely not ok!. As a community we need to help each other improve as people and when someone messes up we must educate them accordingly and judge them on their actions afterwards, as someone who doesn’t suffer from disability it’s not my place weather to say to accept this apology or not but I do believe we should give her the chance to prove herself with her actions.
