Ultimately, you're not going to be successful if nearly all of the genuinely *good* (that is to say, better than merely decent) players on your national team were raised through German or Dutch or Austrian academies.
Honestly I just think it’s a case of not being good enough. Like you love football as much as you want but ultimately we know some nations are just more gifted than others. Turkey are an okay side but they just don’t have the talents.
