Arizona’s Water Infrastructure Finance Authority—funding clean, safe, and sustainable water solutions through infrastructure, conservation and augmentation.
The Window Rock Unified School District have removed lead pipes supplying water to its teacher housing units. WIFA provided $6 million to allow this project to move forward and get completed.

Thank you to the Arizona State Legislature for passing SB1560 sponsored by Senator @TimDunn_AZ.
Once enacted into law, this will increase the cap for loans from WIFA's Water Supply Development Fund from $3 million to $20 million.
The countdown is on for the comment period on our Intended Use Plans.
The comment period closes at 5pm today, so be sure to submit any questions or comments you have before then!

Our Association thanks @GovernorHobbs for signing HB 2096, a @csaofaz priority that facilitates county access to existing funds at @ArizonaWIFA for the remediation, closure, or replacement of cesspools that pose a demonstrated risk to the public.
Thanks to the Arizona State Legislature for passing HB2096, sponsored by Representative Griffin. Once enacted into law, counties will be able to apply to the Clean Water State Revolving Fund for funding to tackle the issue of illegal cesspools

Yesterday, I visited the Camp Verde Sports Complex to see how the town is prioritizing water conservation.
The fields are irrigated with reclaimed water from the upgraded treatment plant, supported by WIFA.
A great example of infrastructure boosting sustainability and growth.
Thanks to @RepEliCrane and the Town of Camp Verde for taking the time to tour the Camp Verde wastewater treatment plant with two of our board members. This plant provides water for the Camp Verde Sports Complex, freeing up water for thousands of homes and businesses in the area.
