From the Missouri-Arkansas Region to the Pacific, our Red Cross volunteers have answered the call in Guam and Saipan. They left early, some waited through delays in Japan, and now they’re on the ground helping communities recover after Super Typhoon Sinlaku. In the days ahead, they’ll be bringing shelter, food, comfort, and care to people facing an incredibly difficult time. We’re so proud of these volunteers for showing up when it matters most. ⚠️ Arkansas, severe weather is expected to impact the ENTIRE state on Sunday — now is the time to prepare. Before the storms arrive, please take a few minutes to: ✅ Identify your safe room (basement, interior hallway, or windowless bathroom on the lowest floor) ✅ Know the difference between a tornado WATCH and a WARNING — a Warning means act NOW ✅ Make sure every member of your household knows your family plan, including a meeting spot and an out-of-area emergency contact ✅ Download the FREE Red Cross Emergency App for real-time alerts and shelter locations near you If you live in a mobile home or RV, please identify a sturdy nearby building TODAY. When a warning is issued, there won't be time — get there early. We're here for you, Arkansas. Stay safe out there. Share this with someone who needs to see it.
