A highlight of #ATTSummerSchool2024 was Thursday’s celebration event, where our incoming trainees reflected on their motivations for training to become a teacher, shared some of their key take-aways, and celebrated what they have learned so far in preparation for September.
On Thursday we were excited to meet our upcoming trainee cohort in-person to round up our #ATTSummerSchool2024 training, kicking off with a morning Q&A session with several trainees who completed their Ark Teacher Training last year. Thank you @KSA_Secondary for hosting us!
Today, our trainees attended an Introduction to Literacy session, where Amy Walters, Deputy Head of ATT emphasised that "Literacy is fundamental to all areas of learning because it underpins everything. Literacy unlocks access to the whole curriculum." #ATTSummerSchool2024

Week 2 here we come! Our Secondary trainees will begin their second week of Summer School focussing on their specific Subject Studies, while our Primary trainees will learn about the importance of maths, English and curriculum design. #ATTSummerSchool2024
