Lecturing Marketing Foundation at the beautiful campus of the @univmiami Herbert Business School 🏝️ The main concern of these young students is the job market in the age of AI. My response to them was in three parts: 1- Things are changing fast but not as fast as the social media and the clickbait news want you to believe. Mostly because the change is not just about the compute power but the infrastructure and cultural adaptation. 2- Start from the first principles and see what skill sets would be valuable with the rise of AI and other technologies: creativity, critical thinking, etc. The new tools are making the playing field almost equal for everyone and the winner is the one able to use their creativity to build with the new tools. 3- Think of what won’t be changing much even with AI, and build sustainable offers around that. Regardless of the technological advancement people always need a place to sleep, nutritious food to eat and clean water to drink. We went through much more such as applications of behavioral biology in marketing, psychology of sales, and some case studies form The Armin Bar (Miami|Milan). 🇳🇱 The Dutch know how to celebrate Koningsdag (King’s Day), even in Miami. This was a genuine gathering at the beautiful residence of the Consul General of the Netherlands, Lisette den Breems, in Pinecrest. Big thanks to Maurice Ouderland for inviting us. He's representing Dutch sports in the US, and bringing the "ROI of football" ahead of the 2026 @FIFAWorldCup. I even received a generous gift from the Dutch Consulate and @KLM: A round-trip flight to Amsterdam for two! This is a truly useful gift, considering that there’s no direct flight to Milan from Miami, and most of the time I have a layover in Amsterdam. This event showed me again that the European community in Miami is growing. And we are here for it. Europe Meets Miami is expanding its partners. For the next season we plan to have an event together with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Miami. The future of Miami is bright 🏝️

AI generated rap for enterprise events? Cringe or cool? I’d say, it’s cool if you’re at that event cause it’s different than all other boring enterprise events. But it’s cringe when you watch the video later on social media. Regardless, s/o to @canva for the bold move. Music is a universal language. It’s made of waves and vibration. And we ARE waves and vibration. Two years ago a fast-casual restaurant chain came to us at The Armin Bar (NYC|Milan) for their launch in Miami 🏝️ And as part of our proposal we created a song for them which was 100% human, no AI, and 200% good vibes. Unfortunately for different reasons we didn’t move forward with that project, but I’m a firm believer of using music as a mean of communication for any busienss. Think of the jingles that you still remember from TV ads when you were a kid. It’s hard to pull this off, but when it’s done right, it’ll be memorable… sometimes for the rest of our lives.
