This has honestly broken my heart. The best thing about supporting Southend is the friends we make along the way. Pete was one of the best I ever made, bonding over our love for sad and bizarre statistics. I will miss him dearly and send all my love to his family and many friends
I am saddened to announce the passing of my good friend, @SUFCRootsHall Historian and groundhopper extraordinaire Peter Miles (@PeterRMiles), who passed away on March 1st. Peter will be missed by his family and friends, the Shrimper community and all football people. RIP Peter π

A support helpline has been set up for parents who have concerns about sending their children to school due to COVID-19. The helpline launches on today and operates Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm.

342 people visited the Storehouse this week, with 18 declaring themselves to be homeless despite the best efforts of @SouthendBC to place them in B&B's during the pandemic. We now have a homeless pack covering the week (collected on Monday) & the weekend (collected on Friday).
