Our excellent S3 Art pupils have completed their skull project. The focus was on recognising tone to create form, accuracy in observation and acrylic painting techniques ππ» ππ» well done to everyone!! @MackieAcademy
On Thursday, our higher photography students got the opportunity to view the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at @AbdnArtMuseums
They were blown away at how incredible the photographs were, hopefully inspiring their own folios π€π» π· @MackieAcademy
At the end of term we said a See you soon to our wonderful Mr Groucott, who heads off to enjoy the life of luxury that is retirement! Thank you for all the blaring tunes, wonderful creations and teaching wisdom. We and all the pupils will miss you π

This project was shared with Social Subjects & inspired by the @VADundee Streets Ahead competition where pupils came up with a solution to an identified problem within Stonehavenβs High Street
