It's not often that Ascent are invited to a fancy book launch, so we were delighted to attend the release of Monarchy and Democracy: A History of Leadership this week. Ascent features in Volume 1 of this giant publication, in the section dedicated to education and training.

Our thanks to the Watoto Children's Choir, who visited Ascent at #RAFCranwell. Watoto is dedicated to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, while also empowering women to rebuild their lives. We were delighted provide the choir with a chance to try life as a trainee pilot.

As we prepare for new Mission Aircrew training at #RNASCuldrose, a modified Avenger has had its first in-service flight, after 2 years of work. Progress on the new Operational Support Base is also on track to host a large uplift in trainee throughput from 2027. #UKMFTS

Ascent staff were delighted to join military colleagues to welcome HRH the Prince of Wales, as he visited RAF Valley for its 85th anniversary celebrations. Prince William’s tour of the site included a visit to the #UKMFTS area. He spoke of “fond memories” of his former air base.
