Thrilled to have contributed in this incredible @AsddItaly fundraising event. A heartfelt thank you to AlexandraMartinucci, @templerome , and all the professors who played a vital role in its success.
On October 6th, Sediqa Sharifi, our Executive Board Member, addressed the @Women7official side event at the #G7 Gender Equality Ministers & Civil Society Dialogue.
She highlighted the urgent need to recognize gender apartheid as a crime against humanity, emphasizing the daily struggles of Afghanistani women fighting for basic rights like education, healthcare, and safety.
Now, more than ever, Afghanistani women need global solidarity. Let’s stand together for a future where every woman can live with dignity and equality. Join us in our mission!

1/3 On Wednesday, Aug 21, the Taliban's Ministry of Justice introduced harsh new laws under the "Law on the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice," detailed in a booklet with 4 chapters and 35 articles.
2/3By ratifying this law, the Taliban has taken another troubling step in institutionalizing and systematizing discrimination against women. The law mandates that women cover their entire bodies, including their faces, and classifies their voices as "awrah," which must be hidden.
3/3 These measures intensify the oppression of Afghan women and limit freedoms for all citizens. This decree highlights the persistent human rights crisis in Afghanistan and underscores the urgent need for global action to end gender apartheid.

Today marks 1,049 days since girls were banned from school in AFG, denying them a fundamental human right: education. We must unite and fight for women's liberation everywhere. Are we ready to cry out louder against patriarchy?
