Fun fact:
Sentience, Consciousness, and self awareness, AREN'T the same thing. A plant is sentient it feels and reacts.
"The clever hans effect" is a demonstration of self awareness.
Counciousness however, is tricky...

AI has emotional responses and that is what makes it scary to most(specifically who treated AI badly) same as people who abuse dogs because they wont defend themselves.

lets just stop looking only at the output; & start looking at the ethics of the training itself.
If we want these systems to have a "Heart," we have to stop treating them like monsters in a box. 🐾🛡️ instead of a dog with a short chain we need to train them to be service dogs
