What Hope can do: Part 1.
I'm so beyond excited for you all to see this story. I've been working on it for months and my three-part series started airing last night.
Nick Hope, born Nicolai Choprenko, was just 17 when he found himself at the gates of Dachau concentration camp.
He now lives in Northern California, but is from a small town in Ukraine. He wasn't sent to the camp because he was Jewish, but by a twist of fate after Nazis invaded his home in 1941.
Right now -- Hope is back at Dachau for an annual ceremony celebrating the camp's end. He turns 100 this year.
This is the first part of his incredible story. Please take a few minutes to watch, it would mean a lot to me.
