The Nimbus-tipped tail seemed to be the most criticised aspect among people who liked the design, but I still think using the silhouette of the Nimbus in flight to replace the Saiyan tail was pretty unique and creative and fit with the overall vibe of the form

That and the lore reasoning behind the form being a marriage of his Earthling and Saiyan qualities also gets emphasised by having the Earth-based Nimbus take the form of the Saiyan-based tail

I guess he's Sonic's son who was trained by Knuckles while Sonic was in the afterworld training with Longclaw
