Boom Time, my ‘hair-raising’ history of true crime in WW2 London is out now in paperback, ebook and as an @AspectsHistory podcast.
‘Ellis balances being a brilliant storyteller with being a serious researcher…the kind of book you finish and immediately want to press into someone else’s hands…highly recommend.’ Another new terrific 5* @Goodreads review of Boom Time, my history of true crime in WW2 London.

Pat is brilliant. While everyone else was crashing down the aisle post war she was doing a 2nd degree did not want to be presented to the King - who was a very sick man by this stage. Debs were finally phased out 7 years later. She is a @bletchleypark veteran, natch.

Last year it was SAS Great Escapes 4 and Daggers Drawn riding high in the Sunday Times bestseller list. This week it's SAS Great Escapes 5 and The Great Train Raid - both have steamed into the top ten this week! Huge thanks to all my readers for helping make this happen: geni.us/DamienLewisBooks
