Another note here:
The key detail is that World Cup match markets are starting to shift onto Robinhoodβs own prediction market infrastructure.
Instead of just routing everything through Kalshi, $HOOD is now pushing select World Cup contracts through Rothera, its affiliated exchange/clearinghouse.
That matters because Robinhood should capture more of the fee upside when activity happens on its own rails.
So the volume is one thing.
But the bigger unlock is $HOOD moving from prediction market distributor to prediction market platform.
