اَللّٰهُمَّ حَاسِبْنِىْ حِسَا بًا يَّسِيْرًا

NEWS: The Crescent for the month of Muharram was sighted subsequently tomorrow I.e Tuesday, 16 June 2026 will be the beginning of the month of Muharram 1448

Dua for Overthinking, Distress and Difficulties يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika Astagheeth! “O Living, O Sustaining, in Your Mercy I seek relief.” — Tirmidhi 3524

Allah is saying to you today; “I will never send you into a situation alone. I go before you. I stand beside you. I walk behind you. Whatever situation you are facing, be confident that I am with you.”

Almighty. Heal and comfort us. Only You know our pain and understand our discomfort. Only You know our grief and sorrow. Only You know our loneliness and suffering. Restore us in every way and keep hope alive in our hearts. Aameen.

Hold on to your inner peace no matter how bad things are. That's your greatest strength. Without it, you have nothing. Remember, everything will pass.

Don't be overly sensitive and take things too personally. At times, people behave the way they do because of the burdens they’re carrying. Be kind. Try and put yourself in their shoes and empathize. If you can’t, be nice and don’t hurt them. You’ll have a more peaceful life.

People have become more self-centered. They don’t try to understand the feelings, needs & problems of others. They’re keen on satisfying their own needs, even by hurting others. Don’t let up. Continue spreading values of honesty, sincerity, integrity & compassion.

Almighty. Protect us from the evils all around. Grant us the strength and good patience to cope with our trials. Help us surrender to Your Decree because You know what we don’t. You know us better than we know ourselves! You know what we need. You know what’s best for us! Aameen.

Don’t wait to forgive someone till they apologise. You may end up waiting forever. Remember, it’s easy to hold a grudge and it’s easy to lay blame. But by doing so, you’re allowing others to have power over you. For the sake of closure and healing, you should forgive and move on.

Give Sadaqah (charity) as much and as often as you can, it brings you closer to Allah. Commit to an act of Sadqah-e-Jaria, so that its rewards reach you even after your death.

Wishing you a Blessed Eid Al Adha. After intense days of worship, I wish you a joyous time with your family and loved ones. Amid the strife and suffering going on around us, spare a thought for the less fortunate as you celebrate. Say a prayer for them.

Go to the Masjid often, so that you can pray on time in congregation. This will draw your heart closer to Allah and His Book, and set you on the path of righteousness.

You have the chance to start anew every day when the Almighty returns your soul to you after sleep. It’s up to you to decide today how you want to live your life; in His pleasure or displeasure. You have a duty to fulfil. Make it a good one.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said the example of one who remembers Allah and the one who does not is like that of the living and the dead (Sahih al-Bukhari 6407). A heart without dhikr (remembrance) is not a quiet heart. It is a heart that has stopped breathing. My beloved, keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah throughout the day (Sunan at-Tirmidhi 3375, graded sahih). It is the most weightless act, and the heaviest on the scale.
