ALT Our funders, the Economic and Social Science Research Council (ESRC), have decided not to continue funding UK in a Changing Europe (UKICE) when our current grant ends in April 2025. Clearly, we hoped – and strived – for another outcome.
I would like to begin by thanking the ESRC for their support for over a decade. It has been a pleasure working with the staff there. Not only that, but the initial decision to fund a public-facing initiative charged with providing impartial information about one of the most polarised debates of recent times demonstrated a significant amount of courage.
