ALT This is a stack of 560 two-second exposures, taken from 1:40 am to 2:10 am MDT on the night of June 4/5, about the time the sky was at its darkest. Even so, despite being near New Moon, the sky is blue from the perpetual twilight of a June night at my latitude. The lens was the Laowa 15mm wide open at f/2 on the Canon R6 at ISO 16,000, very high in order to record as much as possible in two seconds, to keep the satellites' trails on each frame as short as possible, and for the purpose of creating a time-lapse movie. The camera was on a tracker following the sky and stars, so they remain points, and the Milky Way shows up at center. The ground is blurred, though it comes from a blend of just 50 frames from the end of the sequence.
