My segment on @CNN's "American on Purpose" with @CraigyFerg premiered this weekend (catch it tonight at 8 eastern and on the CNN app) . I talk about how the courage of my immigrant grandparents created opportunities for me and my family, and how that courage led to amazing accomplishments by our country including the exploration of space.

I am amazed by the sheer size of The Great Wall of China - stretching over 13,000 miles (21,196 km) and built across more than 2,000 years. I am grateful I had the opportunity to visit and experience a small section of it.

Today I visited one of the most amazing places I have ever seen on the planet - the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, China - a UNESCO World Heritage site housing thousands of life-size unique clay soldiers created in 246–210 BCE

I was greatly honored this past weekend to receive the 2026 Common Wealth Award for Public Service in the area of Science. When I saw the list of past winners, I thought they made a mistake, called them, and found out they were serious - it is huge honor. I also enjoyed spending time with fellow honorees actress Jane Seymour and Philadelphia Eagles radio announcer Merrill Reese. Thanks to @PNCBank for making it all possible!

The Artemis 2 mission gave us Earthlings not only a new perspective on the moon but also on our beautiful home, Happy Earth Day to all!

It was a mini astronaut reunion last night, my dear friend and Space Shuttle Commander Scott "Scooter" Altman received the George C. Marshall Award in Ethical Leadership. It was great also seeing my colleagues Bob Behnken and Greg "Box" Johnson. Congratulations Scooter on this well deserved recognition.
