I remember my friend, giddy with excitement, showing me the alpha of Quake. He would shoot off grenades in an empty room and go “Particles! It’s got particles!”
I was confused as I thought the flat sprite explosions of Doom looked better. I didn’t understand what Quake meant.

We used to have huge arguments over whether Doom or Descent was better, almost entirely hinging on the graphics.
I didn’t really “get” full 3D in its early days.

Well sure, i know he is possessed by his father because the name Hugo,dead giveaway. But isn't it much easier to just arrest him and find a way to save him from the spirit instead of just let him loose running the hotel?

I had no idea who Tim was when I was called in to play Simon, but the one day I was on set for Contradiction sparked a great future friendship which led to At Dead of Night! 💖

A fine mystery game called "Contradiction", and the best thing I like about it is the acting, everyone's just a LITTLE over the top and it's done so well. The story is also engaging.
X-FILES: The Game from the 90s is also a great hit for all the scenes they shot. Loved it!

You know what, I never played Tex Murphy! I remember buying a magazine that had a demo of one of them but not being to run it on my computer. I watched all the behind the scenes material over and over instead.
Definitely planning on correcting this!

Definitely at dead of night. lol. I'm a sucker for really good horror games. and I haven't really been scared of much until at dead of night! super excited for the sequel. something I can kinda compare the game to is this old game called weird park. overall super excited for #2
