Getting some GREAT feedback on atsynct.com from testers. Thanks, in particular, to @Chris_Wozniczek and @darekgusto so far with reviews from a couple more people sure to come in soon. Still ~4 spots for some testers! I'm offering a trade of giving a good test and feedback on your app as well 😀

You ever have those moments of intense inspiration that make your head feel like it's about to explode and you just have to get it all out RIGHT NOW? Having one of those. Doesn't always end up genius in the end (often the opposite! 😆) ... but it's crazy how intense they feel.

I need 10 people. What I get: Started building the new atsynct.com 2 weeks ago. Could use some fresh eyes to give it a "new user" look and grant me some feedback. What you get: I'll return the favor, review what you're building and give useful feedback. Reply here.

Relax everyone. Anthropic just wanted to force us all to go outside and touch grass for the weekend. We'll get Fable 5 back. Though ... I don't think any of us ever got to play Fable 4, did we?

Well, I certainly picked a good time to be trying out Fable 😆 The US Gov't apparently found out that I was finally taking a stab at using it and shut the whole thing down. Sorry everyone.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Using Fable at the moment, just to try it out. I've been using Composer 2.5 almost exclusively since a few days after it came out. My first impression of Fable: SOOOOOOOO SLOW But also ... it's doing a great job. I'm just super bored waiting for it.

Offering a variety of color/style themes is fun ... and, I think, an appreciated feature by users. Do you ever change an app theme away from the default? Do you appreciate being given the option? Or is it something I shouldn't bother with devving?

I've received an offer from a start-up I did some contract work for: 5% equity, 2.5% immediate with the rest vesting over 3 years. 6k/month contract with relatively light work 25% revenue-share for any paid users I bring in Would you take it? Or would you pass?

I see people talking about projects with 1000 commits. WTF are these psychos doing? Screenshot is of a project that I've worked on for 3 months and that was MVP released last week. 108 Commits. Two of them today. Slightly more than one/day.

If you used an app that gave you a portfolio page (or, really, a whatever-you-want page), what widgets/components would you want on it? Would you use something that gave you a result like this one? ken.atsynct.com/

The difference between Proof-of-Concept and Functional MVP can be massive. I usually like to release things into the wild as early as possible ... but sometimes there are a minimal set of features that users just 'expect'. It's funny, where a lot of devs talk about fear of releasing ... I find myself struggling with NOT releasing until these minimal expected features are completed.

So I keep having this recurring dream that I'm on some sort of alien world with a group of friends around me and I'm trying to figure out a puzzle on a strange device. I have to figure out the puzzle to make everything alright. Every night, the puzzle is something different and it's on a different device. I know that I've only got a certain amount of time to figure it out, but that amount of time is ambiguous, there are no countdowns or anything. I always get multiple tries ... I can click buttons, turn knobs, etc and try over and over again. The "danger" of not solving the problem is somewhat abstract ... there isn't an impending enemy or anything. It's more like trying to solve world hunger than trying to defeat the bad guy. Not sure why I'm sharing this dream ... it's just been a persistent nightly dream for at least the past week ... and it's starting to get curious to me in my waking hours as well now.

Two charts that show exactly why I will not be using Claude Fable 5. Composer 2.5 has been doing an excellent job of completing every task I need, and with great speed. It's got an average cost/task of $0.55 Fable 5 is undeniably better ... but Fable 5 Medium costs $8.27/task.

An earlier convo with @thunkoid and @darekgusto has pulled me into a day of Pink Floyd. I wonder how it'll pair with coding on atsynct.com for the next few hours.

What are your best methods for keeping yourself on-track with your goals? Do you have accountability partners? Do you keep a list and check things off of it? Do you do things because you know your brain will keep you up all night chastising you if you don't? I'm exploring ideas and I need to know how people do it before I can expand on those ideas.
