New coach, new system that hasn’t been fully implemented yet, a bunch of new players YOUNGER ones too while some of the old guard has phased out.

This same Morocco team could not beat the Super Eagles in 120 minutes on home soil, yet they went toe to toe with Brazil and even deserve to win.. The Super Eagles under Éric Chelle would have been a serious force at this World Cup if they had qualified. Better days ahead 😩

Halftime thoughts:
Morocco came to play. Quick and decisive counters, they’ve been getting into the box with ease. Better touches inside are needed for them to generate better quality shots, but they’ve done well.
Brazil came out super sloppy and slow to start. However, that Vinicius goal gave them life. Since then, they’ve been strong with possession, generating way more set pieces.
Overall, this has been the best game of futbol yet in this World Cup. Extremely happy with how it’s gone so far and looking forward to seeing what the second half brings.
