Well, this is more than just paying illegals — and the Dems will lose badly here. You’d think they would have pushed for reform of immigration, or closed the gaps in healthcare for the indigent or poverty-level qualified. But no — they shoved a $1.5 trillion proposal through, with most of the cuts drafted by DOJ. You want to know why the stock market isn’t panicking? On top of those cuts, they’ve already been able to cut more — nonessential personnel and programs out of government. And while it sucks to lose a job, there seem to be openings in the free market as illegals are moved out and H1-B hires slow down. So the Dems will die on this vine, and it’ll take them a decade to recover the spending they’ve lost. And let’s be frank — the new Dems won’t have the understanding to do so, especially as their consultants and donors have more to worry about now that Antifa is considered domestic terrorists. Trump — genius or just dumb luck? Either way, we get a decade of lower government spending.
