This is not going to be an easy post to make
9 years ago, I started on Twitter with a little page called Mequon Weather. I just wanted to give weather forecasts for the city I loved so much — the city that raised me. I started in January 2017, and at first I didn’t have many followers, but the more videos and posts I made, the quicker my page started gaining attention.
Going into the summer of 2019, my page was still doing really well. Then my dad passed away on August 26, 2019. That day, I seriously considered giving up on my weather dreams and goals in life, but I could hear my dad telling me not to stop and to “chase my dreams.” So that’s what I did.
Then, during my senior year on December 16, 2019, I was featured in my first newspaper article in the Journal Sentinel titled, “Homestead student has become Mequon’s ‘chief meteorologist.’” My page absolutely exploded with new followers, not just from Mequon, but from all across SE Wisconsin.
I finished my senior year of high school in 2020 (it was bad, trust me), and I had thought about expanding my page, but I just didn’t think the time was right yet.
In the summer of 2021, everything changed. I moved with my mom to Waukesha, and at that point I knew it was the perfect time to expand my page into what is now MKE Metro Weather. So I changed everything and started learning more and more about areas around SE Wisconsin while expanding my forecast radius, which ended up being one of the best decisions of my life.
From there, I just kept doing what I was doing, but now I had a wider range of endless opportunities to chase across SE Wisconsin, and that feeling was amazing.
And with that being said here is this news that will break peoples hearts
I am moving to North Carolina in early July, this was not an easy decision to make but this is a huge opportunity to "restart life"
I want to say a few thank you's
First of all I want to thank God for giving me such an amazing opportunity to do what I love and share it with so many people
I want to thank every single meteorologist who has helped me on this journey including

I want to to thank the incredible people at

I want to thank every single one of my followers for supporting me through these amazing 9 years of my life I wouldn't be able to do what I am doing without everyone's support
I don't know what the future is going to look like for this page but I will keep everyone updated
From the bottom of my heart thank you everyone I am truly grateful for everyone
Much love
Nick ❤️
