Auckland Pride is incredibly grateful for the support of our two core funding partners, @FoundationNorth and Grassroots Trust, for their generous and critical support that they provide our organisation.

Grassroots Trust has been a funder for four years, and this year have generously increased their support to become a Core Funder. Their support of critical roles in our organisation is deeply appreciated, and we look forward to a meaningful partnership to support our communities.
Our Core Funders are fundamental to our mission of empowering, celebrating, and serving our Takatāpui & Rainbow Communities through events, creativity, and advocacy. We cannot thank them enough!

We have decided to not continue the Judicial Review against the Minister of Immigration.
Justice Gendall’s judgement on our urgent application for Interim Orders, while ultimately failing, was significant and sent a clear message from the High Court.

While we continue to believe the Minister’s decision was unreasonable and unlawful, the damage has been done by Posie Parker’s visit and there would be a significant investment of time, resources, and potentially funds that would need to be put towards a Judicial Review.
We took this case on to send a strong message to the Minister that his failure to act was dangerous and would not go unchallenged.
We refused to stand by while our communities were under threat, a decision justified by the alarming rise in hatred towards our communities since.
We are proud to announce the appointment of Fiona Amundsen (she/her) to our Board!
Fiona is an artist, writer and educator who has exhibited widely throughout the Asia Pacific region, United States and Europe. She is Associate Professor in the School of Art and Design at AUT.
