Dear United States of America, 🙏🏽🇺🇲
What kind of America are we choosing when a campaign rally turns a platform into a parade of racism, misogyny, and bigotry?
How can we claim to be "Making America Great Again" when hatred and racism are celebrated so openly? How does this empower or inspire our nation ? Our future as Americans?
We need to face this question head-on: what kind of United States of America are we choosing when a rally platform becomes a "KKK buffet of nauseating slurs" ?
These are real questions I have. Someone please explain this, I don't get it. 1 1 does not equal 2, I'm seriously struggling to understand this.
This isn’t just about Trump or one person; it’s the audacity of such hate being normalized on any level or platform. This is a mirror into ourselves, who we are, what we are, and what we stand for.
Calling Puerto Rico “a floating island of garbage,” mocking and using diminishing degrading stereotypes, and makeing deeply offensive comments about Black people and Jews. This is an assault on basic humanity, it's beyond political party.
If you’re supporting this, what does that say about who you are and what you truly believe in? Voting for a platform that spreads hate means accepting it, aligning with it. Are you really okay standing by this level of divisiveness, letting it define America’s future?
“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
–Abraham Lincoln.
When we let hatred go unchecked, we become complicit in it. This isn’t greatness; it’s chaos, and it’s tearing us apart. Even a child understands right from wrong. If we let this slide, we’re telling the world that America tolerates bigotry, that we’re okay with abandoning the values that once made us a beacon of hope.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” –Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Are we ready to give up on the values that unite us? Are we willing to let hate overshadow everything we stand for? We are better than this.

We stand for unity, not hatred. There is NO place for this. The only good coming from this is the opportunity we have to reveal the darkness.
In order to heal something, we MUST reveal it first. If you don't see it, you can't heal it.
If you don't understand someone, lets give each other the grace to ask the uncomfortable questions that so often we don't ask because of fear & looking ignorant.

There is no "they" to point too or blame... We are the "they" , we are the United States of America. We must have the courage to acknowledge our individual beliefs, perceptions, actions & words to actually grow & become the next best version of ourselves.
I pray to God we each use these experiences to have real, raw, and authentic conversations that empower us, our families, friends and nation.
