This puts into perspective how early tokenization still is. The market opportunity is enormous.
And beyond tokenizing existing assets, there is an even bigger opportunity, namely making capital markets more efficient for companies raising capital and investors deploying it.

This is generally one of the problems with zk. Exploits become impossible to detect.
This is one of the reasons I was always skeptical of zk rollups which only publish state changes. A defi hack on such a chain would be insanely hard to debug, because the only thing that's visible would be a transaction that credits all the funds to the exploiter.
All of which makes me more bullish on constructions like Tempo Zones!

After the Zcash Orchard disclosure affecting $ZEC, Dusk ran a precautionary review.
Orchard uses Halo2 and Dusk uses its own PLONK implementation. We reviewed that proof-system risk class anyway and found no overlap.
We did not identify this class of issue on the Dusk network.

Aegis fixed important issues. Boreas hardens the network further with better stability, performance and test coverage. Code-wise it’s ~50% larger than Aegis.

Boreas Protocol Upgrade (Rusk v1.7.0) is coming to Dusk testnet.
The upgrade strengthens network resilience, resource accounting, client compatibility, and DuskEVM readiness, with Rusk Wallet v0.4.0 also part of the rollout.
