Unfortunately family life was very difficult for me. I didn't just mask at school, but I had to mask at home too.
I haven't really talked about family life before because it used to be too hard to talk about, but this changed recently.

Restraint doesn't just create hypervigilance, leading to more stress related behaviour in the future (and more restraint), it also causes trauma which it can take young people a significant amount of time and support to recovery from. No child deserves that

We did it!
£1,609 has been raised which is incredible - thank you so much for the support.
I aimed for sub 2 hours and had an official time of 1:59:27 😎
This means we can do so much more to ensure autistic young people get the support they deserve.

We have been dreaming about it for years and last week it finally happened. We have a home ❤
⭐ On Monday last week we ran the first of many youth clubs at the centre.
⭐ On Wednesday last week we started our Autism Understood face to face sessions for young people.
