It's amazing working with ppl w/autism. It isn't easy but it's worth it. To all the parents: you are amazing b/c I understand what u do

When will people realize that it is person first then diagnosis. It is not autistic child but child with autism. They are a person first.

Took a client out to lunch to get him to try new foods. It turned into a lot of screaming & ppl starring. I just ignored them & kept working
Why do insurance companies make it so difficult to get reimbursed for ABA therapy? Like parents don't have enough to deal with daily.
Heading off to work to conduct an assessment at Fort Campbell with a talented ABA therapist.
The fireworks display last night was amazing. Now off for a fun-filled day at Camp Widjiwagan.

TACA released that 1 in 91 children are diagnosed with Autism. 1 in 58 are boys. 1 child every 20 minutes is diagnosed with Autism.
