How do you communicate your point when you don't know a word Spanish? 8th grade @LangleyLeopards practiced selecting an unfamiliar word and using their prior knowledge to define it. Their answers were so clever and creative! #langchat

A low-prep alternative: have students generate a list of words for their classmates to define. Easy and meaningful way to spend an extra few minutes at the end of class.

8th grade Spanish students reviewed past vocabulary with a "Getting to Know You" bingo activity, and using @PearDeck provided an awesome green alternative to the traditional paper version. @LangleyLeopards #langchat

5th grade Spanish Students enjoyed Pear Deck Pictionary! I temporarily projected the dashboard after they finished drawing so they could guess which sentences from our novel were illustrated by different classmates. @PearDeck @MCanion @LangleyLeopards #langchat

While 38-year-olds were likely not their target market (although maybe we were because @AuthorAnnMartin @AliciaSilv = our formative years), @netflix's The Baby-sitters Club is definitely keeping this teacher happy and optimistic at an otherwise strange, uncertain time. 😍❤️👍
