I'm especially proud that Simone did it all on her own, through pure grit, determination, and talent. She achieved it as a WOC with no connections in the industry.
those “five minutes” btw were alongside some of the biggest actors and creatives in the industry, all of whom she befriended. Gave her incredible press and promo involvement. Got her incredible praise from fans and critics.
