Both, started sims 1 and lowkey hated it at first, I was so frustrated, but then again I was 9 or 10, I took a break then got all the sims 1 packs in a collection as well as sims 2 base game and fell in love. I played both for many years.

Also, showing support for paralives gives other small devs hope they could make their own life sim spin. And this world needs more life sims, not fewer. I'm going to support it flaws and all. Even if it stays a buggy mess, it was a $40 buggy mess rather than a $1,500 buggy mess.

Because I thought the life sim genre was over. I thought I would have nothing in the future due to EA ruining the sims. Now there’s going to be a quality game with free DLC for a while still 🥹

This is why strong independent games like Paralives are so important. It immediately gets the competitor to listen especially if that competitor had the monopoly for many years and was able to get away with selling thin air. Nothing speaks louder than the threat of losing money

I honestly think the player numbers of Paralives shook EA. They underestimated them. A lot of you guys did too. For an early access base game it’s a winner. And that’s what scares them, it’s only the beginning 🤭
