After digging around on what coins I see doing great in the coming bull, I stumbled upon @unicornandmemes.
UWU is run by people who run a macro fund and were even CPU mining BTC over 14 years ago. I joined their TG, studied how the community behaves on the TL, and can say with conviction this is a real cult with diehard believers. One could argue they are a bit autistic, which makes me even more bullish.
A real bull market has not happened since 2020. That is to say, there were no big outperformers and artifacts like Solona, wif, troll, hype in the extended bear market. But I am more excited for the macro bull market.
In a memecoin supercycle you want diehard believers and a narrative with mass appeal. A unicorn is probably one of the best narratives you can ask for. $UWU is more than this. It has insane lore, is deeply tied to internet culture, and the quality of their artworks left me speechless.
When I asked for their targets they said: We are looking for long-term people who want to ride this to 1B . All the way to kilicorn status — a one trillion dollar unicorn.
How could I resist🦄
I consider myself an investor and, from now on, a member of this community. Long term.

I opened a $SPCX long on @tradexyz yesterday because I didn't feel it matters what kind of crime does or does not happen at and after Open.
The thesis is pretty simple - the leadup to pricing is very crowded and with store clerks and boomer colleagues asking me for advice, I estimate sentiment to generally be FOMO. This is amplified by the suits shoving this thing down everyone's throats. The bet becomes more of a "how high can this be speculated at open" and "do I suffer a gap down if/when oracle snaps to an underwhelming first print?". I do think there will be up into dump into extended crab, as do many, though that doesn't matter for a trade such as this. I am tightening my stops to within 1% here as anything more than 35-40% initial pop on first print feels like a hard gamble to me. Should oracle snap down to "just" 170 (still a decent and massively successfull open in tradfi terms), the edge in this particular trade is gone.
Play the game, dance the dance, apply what you've learned here. The low float high fdv playbook shouldn't surprise any serious Crypto participant.

Something that got missed in the noise last week: Coinbase got approved to offer true global crypto perps in the US. This took many years of work, and we're the first to offer this global liquidity to US users.
Backstory: For many years crypto trading has been moving offshore because the US didn't have clear rules, and perpetual futures were a superior product that traders wanted but it wasn't allowed in the US.
If we're being honest, probably ~half of all perpetual futures volume was Americans using offshore products via VPN with loose KYC controls (an open secret in the industry). Penalties for this were rarely, if ever, enforced, which as you can imagine, was frustrating for us as an American company following the rules. Others set up offshore entities and found ways around it.
After dozens of personal visits to DC, and many more from our policy team, I'm really proud we finally got approval to give US users access to true, global perpetual futures. This is important because we'll now see pooled global liquidity in perpetual futures, with the US and international markets being connected instead of fragmented.
Coinbase is strongest in the US, and the US is the largest market for trading, so there is now a chance to build a global network effect around liquidity. And US traders can now use these products in a compliant way with a US company, which hopefully provides greater customer protection.
Major credit to Chair Selig and Atkins on recognizing the importance of this for US capital markets. And we will keep working to update the system in a compliant way, and to be the best place you can trade.
