Setting up speech-to-text in an @expo @reactnative project is tricky. The react-native-voice/voice module uses native modules that don’t work on Expo Go. That’s where the @googlecloud Speech-to-Text API comes in to save the day in this tutorial I made: youtu.be/gcZSlMU-n48

I didn't know I needed this in my life.
This new JSON API will retrieve a "Whoa" from Keanu Reeves from throughout his filmography.
You can retrieve by year, movie, specific director, or at random. Both audio and video. Built by @AviMamenko.

If you’re looking for a solid free Heroku alternative, I recommend Render.com. Deploying a Node.js Puppeteer app on @render can be a little tricky though compared to using @heroku’s buildpacks - luckily I’ve created a tutorial for it!

Heroku’s phasing out free tier dynos on November 28th. Of course, this affects my projects The Owen Wilson Wow API (owen-wilson-wow-api.herokuap…), @hollywoodlegame (hollywoodle.ml), @BreakingCasting, and others. Anyone know any good free alternatives aside from AWS free tier?
