History made today. Our first gathering of SA First Nations Voice to Parliament elected members. A great day catching up. So proud to be a part of this journey. Thinking of and honouring our Ancestors who have paved the way for us.

" At times change can feel insurmountable in the face of such widespread atrocities but Sophie (now passed) was a trailblazer for raising the age, today, through no small measure from Sophie we are finally seeing this change. Today, Soph, I remember you and honour your legacy.”

@AxCheryl "“State and territory governments have been in a tit for tat with the federal government, refusing to take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of their youngest citizens- its promising to see the ACT government rise above gutter politics and choose humanity."

How much electricity could be generated if most of Lutrawita's / Tasmania's carparks & similar areas were covered with solar panels? And for how much? Less than 1% the $10bn cost of Project Marinus, without impacts pumped hydro would have on already-dammed rivers? #politas

Just vote. Had to wear hubby's work shirt top cover up my YES tshirt when voting today. AEC rep informed me they couldn't permit me to vote if I didn't. Reason 🚫 viewed as being neutral!! I understand they are just doing their job. No guessing what I voted! A big YES! 🖐️
