There is a new patch release for Axelar Core to v1.3.5 for mainnet and testnet. This patch addresses a security vulnerability in CometBFT, the underlying consensus algorithm for Cosmos SDK. It also fixes a non-critical bug in the rewards module. No funds are at risk. During this time, the Axelar Network, token transfers General Message Passing will not be available. All GMP calls initiated during the upgrade will be delivered once the upgrade has been completed. A mainnet services upgrade is planned for Sep 19, 2:00PM UTC. The upgrade should impact relaying services for less than 15 minutes. Satellite, Squid, token transfers and General Message Passing should continue operating, but transactions may be delayed briefly. This upgrade improves relaying support for upcoming networks. The upgrade will not affect the Axelar network.
