Alhamdulillah! The wedding events of my union, which has expanded our family under our beautiful Nupe customs and Islamic traditions, have just concluded successfully in Kwara. The celebrations spanned three towns, Lafiagi, Tsaragi, and Ilorin; from the colourful Tsakan/Nupe traditional day, through the Nikkah, and ended with the reception. It was a beautiful gathering filled with love, rich cultural celebration, prayers, and the heartfelt warmth of family and friends. To my Uwarigida, thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation, especially through the nay-sayings and challenges. Your strength and grace continue to inspire and steady our home. To our beloved parents, siblings, extended family, friends, supporters, and well-wishers, we sincerely thank you for your sacrifices, guidance, and unwavering support. If I have my way, I would have mentioned everybody’s name. You all stood by us and held us up in ways words cannot fully capture. Special appreciation also goes to our mentors, friends, colleagues, and the wonderful community that showed up in large numbers, sent messages, gifts, and prayers. Your presence turned these moments into cherished memories. May Allah bless every soul that contributed in any way, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us a blessed union rooted in love, peace, barakah, mutual respect, and lasting harmony. Egi Nupe remains deeply grateful. #NupeWedding #Alhamdulillah #FamilyFirst #NupeCulture

The Brazilian Government GCUB Scholarship is open and most people who qualify have no idea how to position themselves for it. Next Saturday we are hosting a free masterclass where I will walk you through exactly what successful applicants do differently. The strategies, the documents, the positioning techniques that actually work. We have supported over 20 scholars who won this scholarship. Some had low GPAs. Some had study gaps. What they all had in common was the right preparation. This is a fully funded opportunity and the window to get it right is now. Saturday 13th June. 2PM WAT. Free. On Zoom. 🚨 Cristiano Ronaldo on Portugal winning the World Cup: “We’re very confident about winning the World Cup. Right now, we have the best squad. We have a strong defense, and the three best midfielders in the world are Portuguese. We also have solid strikers. Spain is a strong team as well, but we’ve beaten them before and we can beat them again. The only really tough opponent might be France, but we’re confident we can beat them too. We respect every team, but we believe in our quality, our experience, and our mentality. If we play at our best level, we know we can compete with anyone in the world.”

Hi, I’m Lateefah I’m a wife, mother of two beautiful children, teacher, content creator, and founder of Islamic Tales for Kids. Somehow, between motherhood, teaching, creating content, and building a brand, I still find time to dream, learn, and work towards the goals Allah has placed in my heart. I live in Nigeria, where my days are spent teaching children, creating meaningful learning experiences, raising my little humans, building a brand I deeply love, and trying to leave every child I meet a little better than I found them. Teaching isn’t just something I do; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. There is something beautiful about watching children learn, grow, ask questions, and discover the world around them. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading a book, watching a movie, or enjoying my all-time favourite meal pounded yam with Okpella Egusi soup😛 I also love singing… alone. And yes, I love breakdancing too… alone😂😂 Despite being quite shy, I can be surprisingly playful and energetic. I love calm, clean spaces and the peace that comes with them, which is why cleaning can actually feel therapeutic to me. There is something satisfying about putting things in order and creating a space that feels welcoming. I dream of travelling around the world someday, experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and collecting beautiful memories along the way. One of my biggest dreams is to own a school and a bookstore , a place where children can learn, grow, imagine, read, and fall in love with knowledge. Above all, I hope to raise children who love Allah, love learning, and become beneficial to the world around them. Here you’ll find faith, family life, motherhood, children’s education, books, everyday reflections, a little humour, and the beautiful journey of building something meaningful one day at a time. This page is where all those worlds meet. If you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Tell me where you’re following from and what brought you to my little corner of the internet. 🤍 Lateefah

Sorry, what do you mean “beat the shit out of her Islamically” Islam does not support or encourage domestic violence either on a man, woman or child; and it’s not permissible to use the fact that the man is the sole provider as a justification to engage in domestic violence. There’s absolutely nothing Islamic about it. For polygamy, you are on point. A man who is capable is permitted to marry as many as 4 wives.
I love how this woman is speaking Islamically about the man being the sole provider. I don't want to hear about domestic violence when the husband decides to beat the shit out of her Islamically. And when he decides to marry another wife, nobody should cry about infidelity.

I know things are bad in Nigeria right now, but please, @wizkidayo , I’m begging you, you don’t have to say anything. Recently, you spent over ₦100m for children in Surulere and also participated in the #Endsars movement – both online and offline, home and abroad. You’re just a private citizen. You’ve done your best, and you’re still doing your part. I’m saying this because you should know when to speak out and when not to. Don’t let anyone pressure you into speaking out. Mind you, these same people pressuring you today are the same ones who collectively tried to end your career over a harmless tweet. They want to pick and choose. They want the freedom to constantly criticize and insult you, yet still expect you to ignore how they’ve treated you over the years and speak on their behalf. They claimed your songs that raised awareness were nothing but stunts and accused you of profiting from people’s suffering. Yet today, these same people want you to speak out for them. Your “Biggest Bird in Africa” title comes from being exceptional at what you do. You’re not an activist, and honestly, I’m glad you stopped making conscious music. Remember, these people don’t like you. Don’t let them guilt trip you into carrying responsibilities they never appreciated when you did. God will save and help Nigeria.🇳🇬 ❤️👏
